The bottle is purple. Iridiscent liquid flows out of the minute hole underneath the spiffy flip-top cap.
"25% BONUS!" screams the label. It is yellow.
On top there is a picture of a kangaroo, and below it, a picture of tangled ribbons, seemingly interconnected, but really separate. They look like cartoon sketches. Kind of cool.
Inside the rectangular purple container lies 500 mL or 16.9 fl. oz. worth of hair tonic. One might run out of words to describe it, but the smell is reminiscent of summer: sweet like coconut, sugary like spun cotton. It is so delicious one is almost tempted to taste it.
If the bottle is shaken and squeezed, a pearl-like blob will fall into the hand that awaits it. It will travel to a headful of hair, which it will suffuse with its fragrance. The owner of the hand and hair will, if for the first or special time, follow the instructions on the back:
Work it in.
Rinse it out.
Turn yourself around.
Who said shampoo was nothing like life? After all, that's what it's all about.
